Who we are
Greg Alves
Gregg was born in San Jose, California, and relocated to Lakeview, Oregon, as a young child, living there until he graduated in 1987. During his college career, he fought wildfires, taught ski lessons, and had a short stint in the criminal justice sector before settling into his role with Les Schwab Tire Centers. Gregg retired from Les Schwab in 2018 to spend more time with his family and currently works for the City of Happy Valley. He enjoys time spent on the farm with his family and friends.
Lisa Alves
Lisa was born in Corvallis, Oregon, and was raised in Hillsboro, Oregon. She met Gregg while attending Western Oregon State College, and they were married in 1995. Lisa has enjoyed a long career in the mortgage business and continues her role as a mortgage broker today. She has spent much of her time volunteering at the girls' schools, served on the Estacada School Board for four years, and enjoys landscaping and time at the ocean.
Together, Gregg and Lisa
have developed their property in Estacada, Oregon, into a wedding venue. With their love of entertaining, getting to know new people, and taking care of the beautiful landscape, they created Bridge Over Clear Creek. Many come each summer to see friends and loved ones commit their lives to each other under a blanket of Christmas trees. It is here, along with Griswold, their Golden Retriever, that they host the popular annual fundraiser for the Reagan Christine Memorial Fund. See our Events page for details.
Delaney Taylor
Delaney Taylor was born in Tualatin, Oregon, and spent her first nine years in Renton, Washington, due to her dad’s new store. Her sister, Reagan, was born there in 2007, and the family moved to Estacada that year, where Delaney started fourth grade. Delaney dove right into every opportunity at school, playing basketball, running cross country, and getting involved in student council and the Spanish Honor Society. She volunteered for various activities and participated in student leadership opportunities that took her to Washington D.C. and Berkeley in the Bay Area. Delaney graduated in the top 10 of her class and went to Oregon State University, where she excelled and graduated in 2020 with a degree in merchandising. She currently works for Nike Digital as a supervisor for Nike.com.
“There isn’t a day, minute, or second that goes by that we don’t think of Reagan and the hole her absence has left in our family. This Memorial Fund gives our grief a place of love and possibility.”
