Gregg Alves, President
Gregg was born in San Jose, California, and relocated to Lakeview, Oregon, as a young child, living there until he graduated in 1987. During his college career, he fought wildfires, taught ski lessons, and had a short stint in the criminal justice sector before settling into his role with Les Schwab Tire Centers. Gregg retired from Les Schwab in 2018 to spend more time with his family and currently works for the City of Happy Valley. He enjoys time spent on the farm with his family and friends.
Lisa Alves,
Secretary
I am Lisa — Gregg’s wife, Pam and Bob’s daughter, Amanda’s sister, sister‑in‑law to Laurie, Cliff, and John, and “Aunt Lisa” to my nieces and nephews. I am a friend to many, but the role that defines me most is being Mom to Delaney and Reagan.
Growing up, I never felt a burning desire to become any one thing — not even a parent — until the moment I held Delaney in 1998, and again when Reagan arrived in 2007. The love I felt for them changed me in ways I could never have imagined. The pride and joy they brought into my life is beyond measure.
Losing Reagan is something I never believed could happen to me. I have spent countless hours wondering what I did to deserve such a loss. But over the years since she went to heaven, I’ve begun to understand that this journey is shaping me into who I am meant to be.
This memorial fund is more than a way to serve the kids of the Estacada and Lakeview communities. It is my way of saying her name, of teaching people who she was, what she stood for, and how we can all do better for the children who need a little extra support in this world. I never want Reagan to be forgotten. She is deserving of this honor. If you knew her — or knew anyone who did — you know she loved fiercely and was loyal to her core.
I will continue to honor her in this way for the rest of my life.

Jess Richardson
Hi, my name is Jess. My daughter Peyton and Reagan were childhood best friends, so over the years, we became very close with the Alves family. I enjoy serving as a dedicated board member because I am passionate about honoring Reagan's life. Supporting my community is also important to me, and volunteering for the Reagan Christine Memorial Fund allows me to do both. It is an honor to raise funds that support students in Estacada and Lakeview-all while remembering our girl, Reagan.
Jeff Stockwell
Hello my name is Jeff Stockwell and my family & I have been friends of the Alves since 2009, after suffering our own life changing event. I own a small business and have been with my wife(Cassandra) for 35 years and we are blessed with three daughters, three son-in-laws, and six grandchildren(one boy & five girls!). We are drawn to this charity due to our friendship with the Alves, but also by the purity of the message - life can change at any moment and that friends & family come first. From Reagan's tragedy countless lives have been blended together and more "family" & friends have been made because of it. And because of this tragedy lives have been blessed, just like all of us that knew Reagan were, with a little help to follow their dreams. Thank you all who take the time to read this and we thank you more for your participation in spreading the word/message, volunteer work, and donations to help others starting their journey into adulthood.

Jesse Merten
Jason Lowe
I’m Jason Lowe. I was born and raised in Renton, Washington, and spent 32 years with Pepsi Cola before retiring. I now work for King County Signs & Markings, a role that gives me more time for family and friends. I first met the Alves family in the early 2000s, shortly before meeting my wife, Heidi. Our families have been close ever since. Lisa and Heidi were even pregnant at the same time, welcoming our daughters—Reagan and Piper—just a few months apart.
Over the years, we’ve shared countless Fourth of July celebrations, trips, and memories together. I enjoy taking care of the five‑acre property my family calls home. I also enjoy traveling in our RV, spending time with friends, and exploring new places.
Jesse Merten was born in Newberg, Oregon and grew up in the Woodburn/Aurora area. As a young teenager he met his wife Kellie, whom he's been with for almost 25 years. Together they have four kids, Derek, Carson, Blake and Addison. Derek is now married to Madyson, they have a daughter Wrenlee who was born December 2024. Jesse works as a project manager for GH McCulloch. Outside of work, Jesse enjoys hunting, fishing, family and being a Papa to Wrenlee. He met Gregg and Lisa over ten years ago when Jesse and Gregg worked together at a previous employer.
Hi, my name is Abbie Villagrana. I’m originally from Lakeview, Oregon and now live in Burns, but my roots—and my heart—will always be tied to Lakeview. Serving as a board member for the Reagan Christine Memorial Fund is an honor that means more to me than I can express.
Reagan and I shared a bond that went far beyond friendship. Though we weren’t related by blood, she was family in every way that mattered. My sister and I still lovingly call Gregg and Lisa “Aunt” and “Uncle,” and being part of this board allows me to carry forward Reagan’s legacy with the love and respect she deserves. Supporting students through this scholarship isn’t just a responsibility—it’s a privilege I get to fulfill in her honor.
As the only board member currently from Lakeview, I’m grateful to bring a unique hometown perspective. My husband, Jonathon, and I were both raised in a small community, and that upbringing gives us a distinctive outlook that I hope contributes fresh ideas and meaningful insight to the cause.
A bit about me: I love the outdoors—hunting, attending brandings, and soaking in the simple joys of rural life. These were passions Reagan and I shared, and they continue to remind me of her. I’m also absolutely obsessed with music, especially rock. If you’re looking for me at the memorial fundraiser, I’ll be out on the dance floor all night with my sister, mom, and dad—we all share that same love of music and dancing.
Most exciting of all, my husband and I are expecting our first child this December. I can’t wait to bring him to future events and introduce him to this incredible cause as he grows. Reagan will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’m deeply grateful for the chance to honor her life by being part of this foundation.
Hi, I'm Delaney! I am Reagan's big sister; a title I was so proud to hold the moment I learned I was going to be blessed with a sibling, and still am so proud to hold to this day. I was 9 years old when Reagan was born, and it felt like a brand new world. She was and always will be everything to me! I still remember how tiny she was, and how it felt like a miracle that she joined us earthside as MY sister.
Growing up with a baby sister and an age gap could be challenging, but looking back I'm not sure I would have changed that. I wonder every day why she was taken from us so soon after waiting for her for so long. The Reagan Christine Memorial Fund gives me a channel for that grief, a way to honor her legacy and spread the positive values she held. I like serving on the board knowing she would be proud of the communities we are supporting in her name. It means the world to be lifted up by our people, who spread the word and help aid in our mission.
When I am not visiting home with Mom, Dad, and Grizzy, I live in Chicago by myself and work for Nike WHQ. I love sports, movies, being outside, and spending time with my friends. I find myself spotting signs all over the city that remind me of my sister. If you are here reading our story, I thank you. It is a privilege to simply share it with people like you.
Mike was born in Clovis, CA and enjoyed swimming, volleyball, and playing water polo throughout high school and some of college. He went to Fresno State where he met his amazing wife Ky’an and graduated with a degree in sports medicine and later went back for education in sport psychology and a teaching credential. After working in the sports medicine field with Fresno State football, various professional athletic teams and teaching and practicing at a high school, he shifted his focus to the U.S. Coast Guard where he has been a helicopter rescue swimmer for 16 years. Mike loves every moment he gets to spend with his wife and two children and every time they all can travel to Oregon to visit family.
